Automotive · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Position overview first. An Auckland vehicle compliance centre is recruiting experienced automotive car mechanics for permanent, full-time work from Monday to Friday.
The centre handles compliance inspections, servicing and repairs on all vehicle types, WOF inspections included. The work follows a clear sequence. You strip imported cars for inspection, service and repair them, then record invoices, WOF inspections and repair time in the computer system. Collecting cars and parts from suppliers and supporting the team complete the role.
Next, eligibility. The business is an accredited employer, approved by the immigration authority to sponsor work visa holders. The role is onshore, so only applicants who already hold New Zealand citizenship or residency can apply.
Finally, prepare your documents in order. Your CV should state your mechanic experience in years, the vehicles and systems you have worked with, and your references. List your mechanic experience in order with Build AI CV before applying.
