An established automotive glass company is recruiting a Branch Manager for its Alice Springs branch in the Northern Territory. The company is one of the largest independent businesses in its field in Australia and has served fleet, trade, insurance and retail customers for over 30 years.
The scope is clear. First, you take operational ownership of the branch. Second, you lead a team of three, which includes two qualified fitters and one highly experienced leading hand. Third, you balance business results, people and customer service, with regular support from senior management.
Candidates from automotive workshop, retail management, trade operations or service backgrounds may apply. The employer is approved under the NT DAMA and can provide visa sponsorship for eligible candidates. The role is Full-Time with pay of $80,000 - $100,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily branch workflows
- Measure financial performance against budgets
- Keep branch operations efficient
- Prepare rosters, coach staff, oversee performance and support a positive workshop culture
- Control inventory and stock and maintain local supplier relationships for product availability
- Develop retail, fleet, insurance and trade accounts and give high-quality service by phone and in person
- Maintain strict WHS standards, store security and correct admin records, and assist with basic automotive glass fitting or repairs in busy periods (on-the-job training provided)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven track record as an Operations Manager, Retail Manager, Workshop Manager, Branch Manager or Service Manager
- Strong communication skills and team management skills
- Business awareness and computer skills
- A current valid driver's licence, mandatory for this role
