Chef
Onshore applicants only
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia · Contract · $35.15 - $49.21/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Here is the position in brief. A large, modern community club on the Sunshine Coast is recruiting casual chefs, and the right candidate can expect 35-40 hours per week.
The setting is a club with dining and bar outlets, a centre for events and functions, and a sports bar. The duties come in three parts: first, back the head chef so each service runs efficiently; second, work within the Food Safety Act and the club's food safety system at all times; third, make sure every outlet sends out food of top quality and consistency. Bistro experience is desirable.
The process is in two stages. Stage one is casual work with a trial period. Stage two, if the trial is agreeable, is that the employer will consider sponsorship for the right applicant. Applicants must hold Australian work rights at the time of applying.
