Community Support Worker

Onshore applicants only

Visa sponsorship

Community Services · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $35 - $45/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only

A growing community and in-home support service in Sydney has a full-time opening for a Community Support Worker. Here is the role, step by step.

First, you assess each client and interview them about their difficulties. Second, you plan and run the right programmes and support plans. Third, you refer clients to other agencies and services. Fourth, you monitor their progress and prepare reports, including funding submissions and reports for government bodies. Clients include older people, people with disabilities, young people and families.

On eligibility, the role is restricted to applicants who are already in Australia. The employer states that sponsorship may be available for suitably qualified, eligible candidates under subclass 407, 482, 494 or 186. It depends on four things: employer approval, visa requirements, occupation eligibility and individual circumstances.
