A holiday park in Christchurch, New Zealand is hiring a full-time Holiday Park Assistant Manager. The hourly rate is $25 to $30.
The property is organised around motel rooms, cabins and powered campsites. Its guests are domestic and international travellers, and the summer season brings the heaviest workload.
The role is structured as a training position. You work directly with the management team and learn the operation area by area. Previous management experience is not needed because the business will train the right person, and there is a clear progression route into management. Key Responsibilities
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs
- Handle guest enquiries received by phone, email and in person
- Ensure guests have a great stay
- Assist with reservations made through online booking platforms
- Support cleaning, maintenance and general presentation of the property
- Confirm that rooms, cabins, campsites and facilities are well presented
- Assist with pool and hot pool operations
- Coordinate daily tasks with other staff, complete basic administration and office work, and learn occupancy, pricing and online booking management
