A busy venue in central Auckland, New Zealand, has a full-time opening for a Hospitality All-Rounder. Pay is $23.95 - $28 per hour.
The work has three parts. First, table service. Second, bar service. Third, general hospitality duties around the venue. The environment is fast-paced and focused on guests, and the employer trains staff on the job.

Key Responsibilities
- Table service: take orders, deliver food and drinks
- Payments: process them accurately on the point-of-sale system
- Bar: prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks
- Tables: clear and reset them quickly
- Venue: keep it clean and presentable
- Guests: greet them and make them welcome
- Requests: pass special requests and dietary needs clearly to kitchen and bar
- Teamwork: support kitchen and bar staff in busy periods
- Menu: know the specials and drinks to give good recommendations
- Stock: help restock and keep work areas in order
- Safety: follow health, safety and food handling rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hospitality background in a fast-paced workplace, covering some waiting or bar service
- Real passion for providing great customer service
- Strong communication skills when dealing with guests and fellow staff
- Enough physical stamina to stand for long periods across busy shifts
- Always reliable and punctual
- A positive, flexible approach and good teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
- POS experience: desirable, and training can be provided
- Barista or bartending qualifications: an advantage, but not essential
