Key Responsibilities
- Run service on the floor, managing bookings, table flow and coordination with the kitchen
- Maintain service standards and coach staff during each shift
- Recommend wines and food pairings to guests, and support wine training for staff
- Complete closing tasks: cash-up and the daily checklists
- Take responsibility for rostering, training, stock and ordering to prepare for a manager role
Requirements & Eligibility
- Supervisory or senior floor experience in a quality, busy restaurant (ideally 2+ years)
- Solid wine knowledge, including comfort discussing styles, regions and food pairings
- Willingness to keep learning about wine
- A clear understanding of great service and the habit of keeping that standard on a big night
- A current Queensland RSA, and RMLV or willingness to complete it on the way to management
- Availability for a seven-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Full Australian working rights
